The Michelin starred restaurant is located in the serene surroundings of the Thames Estuary and specialises in locally sourced seafood, served on tasting menus.

Widely acknowledged as one of the best restaurants in the country, its outward appearance as a run down old pub is deceiving. Inside the upmarket gastropub guests are treated to meticulously prepared and  beautifully presented locally sourced ingredients. The Sportsman's head chef and patron, Stephen Harris is obsessed with terroir - the idea that its menu should reflect its surrounding geography. And that's exactly what patrons can expect - seaweed picked from the adjoining beach, salt from the sea and meat from Seasalter's farms.

Be sure to book well in advance of you visit as tables are hard to come by!
